HC Semi Driver | Metroll Pakenham
Join Metroll, a leading Australian manufacturer and supplier of quality steel building products. With a strong national presence and reputation for reliability, we’re looking for an experienced HC Semi Driver to join our Pakenham team.
About the role
Based out of our Pakenham branch, you’ll be responsible for delivering steel roofing and building products across metro Melbourne and surrounding regional areas. This is a hands-on role where safety, efficiency, and customer service are key.
Key responsibilities
- Operating HC semi-trailer for local and regional deliveries
- Safe loading, restraint, and unloading of steel products
- Conducting pre-start checks and basic vehicle care
- Ensuring deliveries are completed on time and accurately
- Providing professional and friendly customer service on-site
- Assisting with yard duties when required
What we’re looking for
- Valid HC (Heavy Combination) Licence
- Experience driving semi-trailers, ideally with steel or building products
- Strong understanding of load restraint and transport safety
- Good knowledge of Melbourne metro and regional routes
- Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
- Reliable, punctual, and team-focused attitude
