Front Counter Sales (Permanent - Part Time) | Metroll Tamworth

Metroll is a leading Australian manufacturer and supplier of quality steel building products, trusted by builders, tradies, and homeowners across the country. We’re currently looking for a friendly and reliable Front Counter Sales team member to join our Tamworth branch on a permanent part time basis.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a busy environment, and is looking for a role with long term potential. 

About the role

You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, providing excellent service and support at the front counter. From processing orders to answering product enquiries, you’ll play a key role in keeping the branch running smoothly. 

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 3.00 pm, with the opportunity to transition into a full time role for the right person.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve and assist customers at the front counter in a professional and friendly manner
  • Process sales orders and payments accurately
  • Provide product information and basic technical guidance
  • Coordinate with the warehouse and production teams to ensure timely order fulfilment
  • Handle phone and email enquiries
  • Maintain a clean and organised front office area

About you

  • Previous experience in customer service or sales, ideally in a trade, building, or manufacturing environment
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, can do attitude
  • Good attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Comfortable using computer systems and processing orders
  • A team player who is reliable and keen to learn
