Utility Operator Position - Full Time - Temp to Hire

Location: Turners Falls, MA

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6am-2:30pm (Temp) 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am rotating days (Perm)

Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor machinery and equipment to ensure optimal functioning and safety.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on utilities systems and equipment.
Respond promptly to operational issues, troubleshooting and resolving as necessary.
Maintain accurate logs and reports of operations and maintenance activities.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations.
Assist with facility upkeep and housekeeping as needed.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve operational efficiency.
Participate in training sessions and follow company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous experience in utility operation, manufacturing, or a related field is a plus.
Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate machinery safely.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Willingness to work a consistent schedule with potential overtime as needed.
