Chief Surveyor

HanmiGlobal Saudi is seeking a highly skilled Chief Surveyor to lead our surveying department and ensure the highest standards of accuracy and precision in our projects. The Chief Surveyor will play a critical role in planning, executing, and monitoring all survey-related activities on site. This position demands a detail-oriented professional with proven leadership capabilities and extensive experience in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate survey teams to perform fieldwork and data collection for construction projects.
• Develop and implement surveying procedures and quality control measures.
• Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings to provide accurate survey data.
• Manage survey deliverables and documentation to support project milestones.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to align surveying activities with project timelines.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and Saudi Arabian regulations.
• Oversee maintenance and calibration of surveying instruments and technology.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior surveyors and team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 15 years of experience in surveying with a strong background in construction projects.
• Minimum of 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Expertise in using surveying instruments and software such as AutoCAD and GIS.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Saudi Arabian surveying codes and standards is preferred.
• Experience working within PMC/PMO or consulting companies is a plus.
