Clinician Verification Agent (Project Based)

Key Responsibilities

License Verification: 

• Review and verify state-issued licenses and credentials of new and existing clinicians using relevant state boards. 
• Ensure all professionals meet the requirements to accept referrals in their licensed states. 

Data Entry and Documentation: 

• Accurately document verification outcomes and maintain records in compliance with HIPAA standards. 
• Update clinician profiles to reflect verified status promptly. 

Compliance Oversight: 

• Monitor and report any discrepancies or unethical conduct in user profiles. 
• Support clinicians by clarifying licensing requirements and standards.

Communication and Support:

• Collaborate with the clinical team to resolve any verification issues.
• Provide courteous, professional support to clinicians throughout the verification process. 

Requirements

Education and Experience: 

• Previous experience in credentialing, compliance, or related roles (preferred in healthcare or behavioral health). 
• Knowledge of state licensing requirements for behavioral health professionals (e.g., social workers, counselors, psychologists). 

Skills: 

• Review and interpret licensing regulations, statutes, and guidance documents to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines. 
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. 
• Strong written and verbal communication. 
• Strong proficiency in online research and information retrieval;  familiarity with advanced search techniques is a plus. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiarity with database management systems.
