WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an Accountant (Process Improvement & Automation) to join our Finance Team in Spain.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate accounting and financial reporting, while also contributing to process improvement and automation initiatives. You will provide financial support to various business functions and help enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.

SOME OF THE INTERESTING CHALLENGES AHEAD OF YOU

  • Prepare and reconcile journal entries (GL, accruals, intercompany) and perform bank reconciliations.
  • Manage Accounts Payable processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with Accounts Receivable for reconciliations and issue resolution (no AR ownership, ensuring segregation of duties).
  • Provide financial support to business areas, acting as a partner to understand needs, explain financial information and support decision-making.
  • Support monthly closing, financial reporting and variance analysis.
  • Prepare financial statements and monitor key KPIs.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives within Finance.
  • Support digital tools and data-driven reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, Group functions and auditors.
  • Support treasury tasks (cash forecast, bank management). 

WHAT YOU NEED TO SHINE IN THIS ROLE

  • Strong accounting knowledge (Spanish GAAP)
  • 1-3 years of practical experience.
  • Process improvement and automation mindset.
  • Advanced Excel; knowledge of Power BI / Power Automate is a plus.
  • Attention to detail with ability to see the big picture. 
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills (ES & EN).
