Field Technical Support

Octal Philippines Inc. is looking for a Field Technical Support specialist to provide on-site technical assistance and support for network systems, hardware, and software. This role involves troubleshooting, maintenance, and ensuring client satisfaction through effective problem resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

• PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE SUPPORT OF IT ASSETS (LAPTOPS, DESKTOP PCs, TABLETS/iPADS & PRINTERS)
• PHYSICAL INSPECTION AND CLEANING
• SYSTEM HEALTH CHECKS
• OS AND FIRMWARE UPDATES
• PATCH MANAGEMENT AND ANTIVIRUS MONITORING
• PRINTER MAINTENANCE AND DRIVER UPDATES
• PERFORMANCE TESTING
• PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE REPORTING

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in technical support or field service roles.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good knowledge of network systems, hardware, and software.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
