OfficeLas Vegas, NV75k - 120k USD

At Cuningham, we design environments that shape how people feel, engage, and connect. Our work in hospitality and gaming is rooted in creating thoughtful, high-quality experiences that balance creativity with technical precision. Through collaboration and a deep understanding of guest experience, we bring spaces to life from concept through construction.

We are seeking a Registered Project Interior Designer (or Project Interior Designer if not licensed) to lead the design process for hospitality-focused projects across all phases. Based in our Las Vegas office, this role requires a strong design vision, technical expertise, and the ability to guide teams while delivering innovative, high-quality design solutions.

This role is ideal for a designer who excels at both creative thinking and execution. Someone who can translate ideas into well-crafted, buildable environments while fostering collaboration and mentorship within the team.

### What you will be doing:
  • Lead the interior design process for small to medium-scale hospitality and gaming projects across all phases, from concept through construction administration
  • Develop strong design concepts, 3D models, and compelling presentations for client reviews
  • Present design ideas to clients and serve as the primary liaison between the client and project team
  • Manage specifications and selection of finishes, lighting, and furniture, including FF&E specifications and procurement coordination
  • Review shop drawings, submittals, and material samples to ensure alignment with design intent
  • Coordinate closely with consultants, contractors, and interdisciplinary teams for technical and design integration
  • Apply regenerative and sustainable design approaches to enhance the built, social, and natural environments
  • Mentor junior team members through guidance, feedback, and thoughtful task delegation
  • Oversee preparation of accurate, code-compliant interior documentation that meets contract requirements
  • Participate in construction administration, including site visits and design verification
  • Support project pursuits by preparing proposal content and participating in client interviews
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the interiors resource library
  • ### What we look for:
  • Certified, registered, or licensed Interior Designer strongly preferred; Project Interior Designer title applies if not licensed
  • 4-8 years of professional interior design experience, preferably within hospitality and gaming
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating hospitality design work, 3D modeling, and presentation capabilities
  • Proven experience with shop drawings, submittals, FF&E specifications, and design documentation
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with confidence presenting to groups
  • Proficiency in Revit/BIM 360, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and Bluebeam
  • Strong capability in 3D modeling and visualization using tools such as Enscape and Lumion
  • Preferred experience with DesignSpec software for specification writing and review
  • Working knowledge of building codes and permitting processes related to interior projects
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to lead teams and coordinate across multiple stakeholders
  • Why Cuningham?

At Cuningham, we believe the best work happens when people are supported, challenged, and connected.
