About your role
We are looking for a Partner Relationship Manager to anchor our East Coast presence and take ownership of our most important partner relationships in the New York market. This is a senior individual contributor role focused on depth over breadth: activating and developing high-value relationships with the audit, tax, legal, and placement agency partners who advise the GPs we serve.
You will be the primary face of Juniper Square's partnerships function in New York, responsible for generating qualified pipeline through partner referrals, maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders at key firms, and representing the company at the industry events that matter most in private funds. This role reports to the Senior Director of Partnerships.
This is not a generalist BD role. We need someone who can walk into a room with a Big 4 partner or a fund formation partner and immediately establish credibility. You know this industry, you know these people, and you know what it takes to build trust at the senior level.
The application deadline for this role is June 15th, 2026.
What you’ll do
Own and develop a portfolio of strategic partner relationships across audit, tax, legal, banking, and placement agency firms in the New York market, with a focus on senior-level stakeholders
Drive qualified referral pipeline from partner relationships to Juniper Square's sales team, with accountability for both volume and quality of introductions
Build and execute account plans for key partners, including QBR cadences, joint go-to-market initiatives, and co-marketing opportunities
Represent Juniper Square at industry events, conferences, and professional networks relevant to private equity, venture, and real estate fund managers
Work closely with sales to support partner-sourced deals from introduction through close
Provide ground-level market intelligence on partner needs, competitive dynamics, and emerging trends in the alternative investment space
Contribute to the frameworks, playbooks, and processes that will scale the partnerships function over time
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in institutional sales, relationship management, or partnerships within the alternative investment industry, specifically private equity, venture capital, or real estate
Existing network within the private funds service provider ecosystem in New York, including audit/tax practices, fund formation, banks, placement agencies, or similar
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships at the senior partner or managing director level
Track record of generating qualified business outcomes from relationship-driven activity
Strong presence and communication skills; comfortable representing a company externally with a sophisticated audience
Based in New York City with ability to maintain a regular in-market presence
Self-directed and comfortable operating in a growing function without a large team behind you
Nice to Have
Prior experience at a fund administration firm, fund technology company, or SaaS platform serving financial services
Existing familiarity with Juniper Square's product or competitive landscape
Experience building or scaling a partnerships or channel function
