ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Klaviyo Senior Digital Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in partnering with our clients to maximise their marketing potential through the Klaviyo platform. You will work closely with clients to understand their business goals, develop tailored strategies, and provide guidance on optimising their marketing campaigns using data generated from the Klaviyo platform.

- Partner with clients to understand their business objectives and translate them into high-impact marketing strategies on the Klaviyo platform.
- Analyse client data to uncover opportunities for improved customer engagement, retention, and revenue growth.
- Design and execute comprehensive email and SMS marketing campaigns that resonate with target audiences and drive measurable results.
- Develop customised, data-driven marketing strategies that fully leverage the capabilities of the Klaviyo platform.
- Champion best practices for email and SMS marketing, segmentation, and personalisation across client accounts.
- Lead A/B testing initiatives and data analysis to continuously refine and improve campaign performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless strategy execution and a unified client experience.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, delivering clear communication, actionable insights, and exceptional client experiences.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to bring innovative, forward-thinking solutions to clients.
HOW SUCCESS WILL BE MEASURED
- Client revenue growth and demonstrated improvement in key marketing KPIs (open rates, conversion rates, CLV) attributed to strategies you develop.
- Client satisfaction and retention — measured through NPS, QBR feedback, and renewal rates.
- Quality and adoption of campaign strategies, including A/B test velocity and personalisation depth across client accounts.
- Timely delivery of performance reports and actionable optimisation recommendations.
- Cross-functional collaboration effectiveness, including seamless handoffs and joint project outcomes.
- Thought leadership contributions — internal knowledge sharing, process improvements, and adoption of emerging platform capabilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Implement A/B testing and data analysis to refine campaign performance.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of strategies.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide regular performance reports to clients.
- Offer recommendations for optimisation and campaign enhancement based on data insights.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to provide innovative solutions.
- Deliver exceptional client experiences through clear communication and effective relationship-building.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of experience in email marketing, SMS marketing, owned channels, digital marketing or related fields. Some brand/client side experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience.
- Demonstrated experience with Klaviyo or similar marketing automation platforms.
- Knowledge of Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and their role in data-driven marketing.
- Proven experience in developing and executing successful data-driven marketing campaigns.
- Strong understanding of email and SMS marketing best practices and strategies.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong project management skills to oversee implementations and campaigns from start to finish.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of driving successful marketing campaigns and achieving results.
- Eligible to work in Australia without restrictions.
Our salary range reflects the cost of labour in the country where the job post is advertised. The base salary offered for this position is determined by several factors, including the applicant’s job-related skills, relevant experience, education or training, and work location.
In addition to base salary, our total compensation package may include participation in the company’s annual cash bonus plan, variable compensation (OTE) for sales and customer success roles, equity, sign-on payments, and a comprehensive range of health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits based on eligibility.

This role may require up to 10% travel for purposes such as new hire onboarding, client or partner work if applicable, team meetings, and industry events. Travel is coordinated in advance.
