Purpose and Objective
The Sourcing Specialist plays a critical role in driving the end-to-end execution of sourcing and procurement. This position is responsible for cultivating a best-in-class vendor network, leading strategic negotiations, and ensuring seamless coordination from product development through final delivery.- Orchestrate end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities, ensuring seamless execution from vendor engagement through to final delivery.
- Curate and develop a network of best-in-class suppliers, with a strong focus on quality, craftsmanship, and alignment with brand standards.
- Lead strategic negotiations with vendors to secure optimal conditions across pricing, quality, and delivery, safeguarding both margin and excellence.
- Oversee the planning and execution of purchase orders and inbound flows, ensuring precision, timeliness, and continuity of supply.
- Partner cross-functionally with Creative, Product Development, Merchandising, and Commercial teams to support seasonal launches and business priorities.
- Drive inbound logistics coordination, including freight optimization and container planning, ensuring efficiency without compromising service levels.
- Leverages a strong network of factory partners across Asia to identify and source manufacturers aligned with product category and quality standards.
- Maintain rigorous oversight of all shipping documentation, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and impeccable record retention.
- Monitor global supply chain dynamics and logistics trends, proactively anticipating risks and safeguarding operational continuity.
- Align procurement strategies with inventory planning, ensuring optimal stock levels and supporting production and commercial needs.
- Identify and resolve supply chain challenges with agility, implementing sustainable solutions to enhance operational resilience.
- Support product lifecycle execution, including development timelines and the curation of a structured and accurate product library.
- Provide clear and elevated reporting on supply chain performance, ensuring visibility on shipments, inventory flow, and key operational metrics.
