Mercier Consultancy is seeking a dedicated German Content Safety Moderator to join the team working with a leading social media giant, based in Greece. As a Content Moderator, you will play a crucial role in reviewing and moderating German language user-generated content, helping to maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging online community.

This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, possess excellent command of the German language, and are eager to contribute to a dynamic team while developing their professional expertise in a stimulating and supportive workplace setting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and moderate German user-generated content across various social media platforms.
• Review and assess flagged content for compliance with community guidelines and policies.
• Engage with users professionally when necessary to clarify content issues or resolve disputes.
• Identify and escalate complex or serious violations to appropriate teams.
• Collaborate with the broader moderation team to maintain high standards of content safety.
• Keep abreast of the latest trends and updates in content safety and moderation techniques.

Requirements

• Fluency in German and English, both written and verbal.
• Experience in content moderation, community management, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Capability to handle sensitive and potentially disturbing content with professionalism.
• Availability to work in Greece.
