Senior Electrical Engineer

HanmiGlobal Saudi is looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing electrical systems in various large-scale infrastructure projects to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant electrical installations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, review, and approve electrical systems and layouts according to project requirements and industry standards.
• Coordinate with project teams including civil, mechanical, and instrumentation engineers to integrate electrical solutions effectively.
• Conduct electrical load calculations, system simulations, and prepare technical specifications and documentation.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement corrective measures as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, standards, and regulations in Saudi Arabia.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior electrical engineers and technical staff.
• Collaborate with clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in electrical engineering within large infrastructure or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, codes, and standards applicable in Saudi Arabia.
• Proficient with AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, and other relevant electrical design software.
• Experience with power distribution, lighting, and control systems design.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Familiarity with procurement processes and contract management is an advantage.
