Senior Java Developer - Liferay DXP

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer, to join our team and support the design, development, and maintenance of large-scale web applications. The role focuses on Java development, Liferay DXP implementation, cloud-based architectures, and the delivery of scalable and high-performing digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Java and Liferay DXP
• Develop and support REST APIs and microservices
• Contribute to scalable platforms hosted on cloud and Kubernetes environments
• Implement and customise Liferay components, themes, and frontend elements
• Work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React to support modern UI requirements
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and architects
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation
• Support CI/CD processes and deployment activities
• Contribute to performance optimisation and architecture improvements

Requirements

• Strong experience with Java development

• Experience with Liferay DXP, including extension, theming, and frontend customisation
• Experience with REST API development and microservices
• Familiarity with Java 17 is considered an advantage
• Experience with React, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms, preferably Azure
• Understanding of Kubernetes and distributed architectures
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL
• Experience with CI/CD processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills in English
