The company offers the opportunity to those who wish to express interest in the position of “Junior Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation Engineer | Junior Μηχανικός Ηλεκτρολογίας, Οργάνων και Αυτοματισμών”, for its premises in Chalkidiki. The position will report to the Process Maintenance Electrical Engineer, of the Processing Department in Skouries.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high standard of safety awareness and personal responsibility in all activities.
  • Develop familiarity with the process plant flowsheet, operational philosophy, and equipment across all plant areas.
  • Develop an understanding of electrical systems, instrumentation, and automation systems used within the Process Plant.
  • Gain knowledge of applicable legal, regulatory, and company compliance requirements related to electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Work under supervision to gain practical exposure to plant systems, maintenance practices, and operational requirements.
  • Support maintenance and operations teams under supervision as part of the learning process.
  • Participate in plant inspections, maintenance activities, and shutdowns to develop practical understanding of equipment and systems.
  • Support the identification and basic analysis of electrical and instrumentation issues under guidance.
  • Gain exposure to plant control systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS) and their role in process control and stability.
  • Develop an understanding of the interaction between process performance, instrumentation accuracy, and control philosophy.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate maintenance documentation, records, and drawings.
  • Demonstrate continuous development of technical knowledge and practical competency.
  • Comply with all site safety standards, procedures, and operational requirements.
  • Gain hands-on experience in SAP ERP (PM & MM modules) to support work order management, data entry and material transactions under supervision.
  • Develop an understanding of maintenance KPIs (e.g. MTBF, MTTR, equipment availability) and support their interpretation and use under guidance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation or Automation Engineering.
  • 0–3 years’ experience in Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and industrial control systems.
  • Exposure to PLC / SCADA / DCS systems will be considered an asset.
  • Basic understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g. Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet).
  • Exposure to mining, process plant, or heavy industry environments will be considered an advantage.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Valid driving license.
