About the role

As a Production Intern, you will join and work closely with Empatica's Operations Team in Milan.

In this role, you will get in contact with amazing technology, while obtaining a detailed understanding of the manufacturing and the logistics of wearable products.

You will report to our Head of Operations and assist with various tasks related to both new and existing product production.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Be involved in hands-on tasks related to our products, like assembling, packaging, or inspection
  2. Assist Empatica's logistics team in Milan with various tasks to ensure smooth operations
  3. Support logistics-related activities, including material shipments and inventory management
  4. Work closely with the team to ensure efficient and timely operations

Important detail: This is a full-time position with a contract duration of 3 to 12 months.

Requirements

You are the best candidate for this position if you:

  1. Recently graduated (or finishing) a technical degree program (Engineering, Supply Chain Management, etc.)
  2. Have strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Italian is not needed)
  3. Are able to demonstrate respect, patience, and a positive attitude, even when faced with challenging situations
  4. Are well-organised with attention to detail
  5. Have the willingness to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  6. Are tech-savvy with a quick ability to learn new products, tools, and platforms
