We are looking for a superstar Senior Bookkeeper to join our growing team at our Collins Street office and for this role, we are looking for someone who can work full-time with flexibility around start and finishing times.

This role plays an important part in the day-to-day bookkeeping for our internal advisory divisions as well as the on-boarding of clients.

What you’ll be doing

  • Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable
  • Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations
  • End to end payroll including superannuation, payroll tax and work cover
  • Lodgement of Superannuation
  • P&L/Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Monthly Reporting including cash flow
  • Mentoring and developing junior staff
  • Managing workflow and compliance of junior staff

Requirements

We want to hear from people who have:

  • Relevant degree or diploma (major in Accounting or Bookkeeping)
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Prior experience with Xero Accounting software and an intermediate to advanced level in the full Microsoft office suite, particularly Excel and Word
  • Prior experience mentoring junior staff
