Hire Digital is seeking a Freelance Financial Journalist (Banking & Fintech) with experience in banking, fintech, and financial services content to support editorial and advertorial content production for a global financial media platform.

The role will focus heavily on producing advertorial-style articles and feature content based on award submissions from banks, fintech companies, and financial institutions. Writers should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround expectations over the next 2–3 weeks.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Write and edit high volumes of advertorials, feature stories, and editorial content using client-provided award submissions and supporting materials.
  • Convert financial institution case studies and award entries into polished, engaging articles suitable for publication.
  • Produce content focused on:
  1. Banking and financial services
  2. SME banking and WealthTech
  3. Fintech and payments
  4. Transaction banking
  5. Digital banking innovation
  • Collaborate with editorial teams to ensure deadlines and publication standards are met.
  • Review and refine interview-based or contributed content where required.
  • Maintain consistency, clarity, and editorial quality across multiple assignments.

Requirements

  • Proven experience writing content related to banking, fintech, financial services, or B2B industries.
  • Strong English writing and editing skills with attention to tone and structure.
  • Ability to quickly turn around polished editorial-style content from source materials.
  • Comfortable handling multiple articles and tight deadlines.
  • Understanding of banking and financial services terminology preferred.
