Accountant with Audit Exp in UAE

Ontime Group is seeking a skilled Accountant with auditing experience to join our finance team in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounting functions while applying auditing principles to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
• Conduct internal audits to assess financial processes and controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Prepare periodic financial statements and reports, providing accurate and timely insights to management.
• Assist in external audits by preparing necessary documentation and liaising with auditors.
• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and recommend improvements.
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain comprehensive and organized financial records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen internal controls and improve process efficiencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience with a focus on auditing within the UAE.
• Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or Chartered Accountant is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UAE accounting standards, auditing standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Effective communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
