Head of Offensive Security

Triskele Labs is seeking an experienced offensive security leader to head our penetration testing and red team practice. We are an Australian-owned MSSP delivering advisory, defensive, and offensive services to clients across all industry verticals.

The Head of Offensive Security owns the strategy, delivery, and commercial growth of our offensive services portfolio, spanning the full breadth of penetration testing disciplines including niche and frontier areas such as OT and AI security, as well as red teaming and adversary simulation. You will lead a team of experienced practitioners, balancing hands-on technical delivery with people leadership, driving continuous investment in tooling and technology including the integration of AI into the practice, and ensuring the team maintains the training and accreditations needed to deliver best-in-market services. You will work alongside the broader leadership team to align offensive capability with client and market demand.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a senior practitioner ready to step into or continue in a leadership role. You will be accountable for engagement quality, team development, and the continued growth of a practice with an established client base and pipeline. Our client base spans regulated industries across multiple verticals, offering broad exposure and ongoing opportunity for skills development.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire the offensive security team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative environment.
  • Develop and implement the strategic roadmap for offensive security services aligned with Triskele Labs’ business objectives.
  • Oversee and participate in complex penetration testing engagements across diverse technologies and environments.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in offensive security methodologies, tools, and practices.
  • Develop new service offerings and capabilities based on emerging threat actor techniques and technologies (such as AI security).
  • Collaborate with other departments and leadership to integrate offensive security within broader cybersecurity strategies.
  • Mentor and develop team members to advance their skills and professional growth.
  • Represent Triskele Labs at industry events, conferences, and client engagements to showcase our offensive security expertise.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

  • Extensive experience in penetration testing and offensive security, with a proven track record of leadership.
  • Deep understanding of security vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and remediation strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients, stakeholders, and teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking and project management capabilities.
  • Relevant certifications and training such as Offensive Security certifications, GIAC certifications, or equivalent.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

Working Arrangements:
