Eram Talent is looking for a highly skilled Sr. Environmental Coordinator with expertise in Gas Operations to join our client's team in the energy sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing environmental compliance and initiatives within gas operations. This role involves ensuring adherence to environmental regulations, conducting audits, and implementing sustainability programs to minimize environmental impact. Responsibilities
- Coordinate environmental compliance activities related to gas operations.
- Conduct environmental audits and inspections to ensure regulatory adherence.
- Develop and implement environmental management plans and sustainability initiatives.
- Monitor environmental performance and prepare detailed reports for management and regulatory bodies.
- Liaise with governmental agencies and stakeholders regarding environmental matters.
- Provide environmental training and awareness programs for operations personnel.
- Identify and recommend improvements to reduce environmental risks and impacts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years experience in environmental coordination, preferably within gas operations.
- Strong knowledge of local and international environmental regulations related to gas operations.
- Has a background for Gas Operations and Sustainability impact.
- Has the ability to conduct awareness sessions and events.
- ISO 14001 Lead Auditor, Radiation Safety Officer (RSO), NEBOSH (Diploma in Environmental Management).
- Experience conducting environmental audits and preparing compliance reports.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficient in environmental management systems and relevant software tools.
