Occupational Therapist

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our hospitals in UAE. The successful candidate will assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions designed to help patients of all ages improve their ability to perform daily activities and enhance their quality of life. This role involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams to support patients recovering from injury, illness, or developmental challenges within a supportive and patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical, psychological, and social needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patients’ goals and capabilities.
• Implement therapeutic activities that promote functional independence and improve motor, sensory, and cognitive skills.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies to facilitate recovery and prevent further disability.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records documenting assessments, treatments, and progress.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and stay updated with best practices in occupational therapy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid licensing or certification to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the UAE or eligibility to obtain one.
• Proven experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably within hospital or rehabilitation settings.
• Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques and patient-centered care approaches.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work compassionately and patiently with diverse patient populations.
• Commitment to ethical practice, continuous learning, and professional development.
