Consultant Pediatric Craniofacial Surgeon

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Pediatric Craniofacial Surgeon to join our hospitals in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for the diagnosis, surgical treatment, and comprehensive management of pediatric patients with craniofacial abnormalities and deformities, including congenital and acquired conditions. Responsibilities

• Perform complex craniofacial surgical procedures on pediatric patients with congenital or acquired craniofacial anomalies.
• Evaluate patients preoperatively to develop individualized surgical plans and postoperative care strategies.
• Collaborate closely with pediatric neurosurgeons, plastic surgeons, orthodontists, and rehabilitation specialists to provide integrated care.
• Provide comprehensive counseling and follow-up care for patients and families throughout the treatment process.
• Participate in clinical research, audits, and continuous professional development to advance the field of craniofacial surgery.
• Train and mentor junior surgeons and healthcare professionals in craniofacial surgical techniques and patient management.
• Maintain high standards of surgical safety, documentation, and adherence to hospital protocols.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialized training and board certification in Pediatric Craniofacial Surgery or relevant surgical subspecialty.
• Valid UAE medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure to practice as a Consultant Craniofacial Surgeon.
• Minimum of 5 years post-specialization experience in pediatric craniofacial surgical practice.
• Demonstrated expertise in complex craniofacial reconstructive surgeries and multidisciplinary care coordination.
• Excellent surgical skills combined with strong communication and patient-centered care abilities.
• Commitment to ethical medical practice, continuous learning, and contribution to clinical research.
