Consultant Neurodevelopmental Pediatrician

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Consultant Neurodevelopmental Pediatrician to join one of the leading healthcare facilities in the UAE. The successful candidate will specialize in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of neurodevelopmental disorders in children, including autism spectrum disorders, developmental delays, and learning disabilities. This role offers an opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team committed to providing holistic and individualized care to pediatric patients with complex neurodevelopmental needs.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of children presenting with neurodevelopmental concerns.
  • Diagnose and develop management plans for conditions such as autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, and other developmental disorders.
  • Collaborate with psychologists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, educators, and families to provide coordinated, multidisciplinary care.
  • Advocate for patients and families, providing education and support throughout the care process.
  • Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives aimed at advancing neurodevelopmental pediatric care.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior medical staff and allied health professionals.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advances in neurodevelopmental pediatrics and integrate evidence-based practices into patient care.

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialization in Pediatrics and additional training or certification in Neurodevelopmental Pediatrics.
  • Valid UAE medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure to practice as a Consultant Neurodevelopmental Pediatrician.
  • Minimum of 5 years clinical experience in neurodevelopmental pediatrics or related fields.
  • Strong expertise in diagnosing and managing a broad spectrum of neurodevelopmental disorders in children.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and with families.
  • Compassionate approach focused on individualized, patient-centered care.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to ethical medical standards.
