Consultant Internal Medicine-Qatar

We are seeking an experienced Consultant in Internal Medicine to join our hospitals in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to adult patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of complex medical conditions. This role requires a thorough understanding of internal medicine principles, excellent clinical judgment, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking, physical examination, and diagnostic evaluations.
• Diagnose, manage, and monitor acute and chronic medical conditions across various subspecialties within internal medicine.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based guidelines and patient needs.
• Collaborate with specialists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive health measures.
• Participate in clinical audits, research activities, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with board certification or specialization in Internal Medicine.
• Valid UAE medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure to practice as a Consultant in Internal Medicine.
• Minimum of 5 years clinical experience in Internal Medicine practice.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge in managing a wide range of adult medical conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction and multidisciplinary collaboration.
