Consultant Fetal Medicine-Abu Dhabi

We are seeking an experienced Consultant in Fetal Medicine to join our hospitals in UAE. The ideal candidate will specialize in the assessment and management of high-risk pregnancies, focusing on fetal diagnosis and therapy. This role involves working closely with obstetricians, neonatologists, geneticists, and other specialists to provide comprehensive care throughout pregnancy, ensuring optimal outcomes for both mother and fetus.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed fetal assessments using advanced ultrasound and diagnostic techniques.
• Diagnose and manage fetal anomalies, growth disorders, and other high-risk pregnancy conditions.
• Perform invasive procedures such as amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, and fetal blood sampling when indicated.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment and management plans.
• Provide counseling and support to expectant parents regarding fetal conditions and potential interventions.
• Participate in clinical research, training, and quality improvement initiatives within fetal medicine.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

Requirements

• Medical degree with specialist training and board certification in Fetal Medicine or Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
• Valid UAE medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure to practice in Abu Dhabi.
• Minimum of 5 years clinical experience in fetal medicine or a related specialty.
• Proficiency in advanced fetal imaging and invasive prenatal diagnostic procedures.
• Excellent communication and counseling skills to effectively support patients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to providing patient-centered care and continuous professional development.
• Strong research and academic background is preferred.
