Responsibilities

• Translate diverse source materials from English into Chinese (Traditional) accurately and appropriately.
• Ensure translations are culturally relevant, clear and align with client specifications.
• Maintain consistency in terminology and style throughout translation projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and reviewers to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Perform self-review and quality checks to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field preferred.
• Native proficiency in Chinese (Traditional) with excellent command of English.
• Must be located in Taiwan.
• Demonstrated professional experience in post-editing, translation preferably in a freelance capacity.
• Strong understanding of cultural nuances and localization practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Familiarity with translation tools (e.g. SDL Trados Studio) is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines in a remote environment.
