We are looking for a skilled Product Engineer with strong Calypso expertise to join a leading banking client in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Calypso development, scripting, and integration, along with a solid understanding of treasury and capital markets products. This role involves working closely with front office, risk, and operations teams to deliver scalable and high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and support solutions within the Calypso platform
Work on Calypso scripting, APIs, and customization
Collaborate with business stakeholders across Front Office, Risk, and Operations
Handle trade lifecycle management including trade capture, validation, settlement, and reporting
Develop and support integration frameworks using REST APIs, FIX, and Kafka
Work on pricing, valuation, and risk calculations
Manage scheduled tasks, workflows, and engine configurations
Ensure system stability, performance tuning, and issue resolution
Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and production support

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Calypso
Strong understanding of Calypso architecture and core modules
Experience with Calypso APIs and scripting
Solid knowledge of Equity and Treasury products, including:

FX / Money Market
Bonds / Repo
Interest Rate Swaps (IRS)
Cross Currency Swaps (CCS)
Credit Default Swaps (CDS)

Good understanding of trade lifecycle processes
Experience in settlement, accounting, reporting, workflows, and scheduled tasks
Hands-on experience with Front Office module (Workstation, Pricing Sheet)
Strong programming skills in Core Java
Good experience with Oracle Database (SQL/PLSQL)
Understanding of REST API frameworks
Familiarity with real-time integration patterns (FIX/Kafka)

Good to Have

Experience with Calypso Risk Modules (ERS, Limits)
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as SA-CCR, FRTB
Exposure to banking or financial services domain in GCC
