Role Overview:
The Senior Quality Control (QC) Engineer at Lamdax plays a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products and solutions. You will lead quality assurance initiatives, design and implement testing strategies, and work closely with development teams to detect, prevent, and resolve defects. This role requires a detail-oriented professional dedicated to maintaining high standards and improving processes to deliver exceptional software products.
Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts to ensure software quality.
- Conduct manual and automated testing for web, mobile, and backend applications.
- Identify, record, and track defects, working closely with development teams to resolve issues.
- Implement and enhance testing frameworks and tools to improve test coverage and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define quality standards.
- Analyze test results, provide thorough documentation, and report on product quality metrics.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing and process improvements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software quality control or assurance, preferably in Agile environments.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proficiency in automated testing tools and scripting languages such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
- Experience with performance, functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and defect tracking systems like JIRA.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and mentor junior members.
