Pay range (depending on experience): $25/hr
Schedule/Shift: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
Location: San Diego, CA

Responsibilities:
  • Process medical records email, fax line and phone calls.
  • Process Additional Documentation Request (ADR) received from CMS and Private Insurances.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot all issues with internal EMR systems pertaining to clinical processing of visits, documents, data, billing and other issues as needed.
  • Create best-practice processes for EMR systems.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with office and field staff.
  • Conduct business in a manner that displays a high level of confidentiality, and integrity at all times.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a Home Health or Hospice setting.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience using HCHB to perform operations relating to the Home Health and Hospice Business model.
  • Understanding HIPAAs compliance rules and regulations.
  • Understanding of CMS guidelines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary to explain complex and/or confidential information and communicate with all levels of management.
  • Ability to anticipate and identify problems and use sound judgment and fact-based analysis to develop effective and efficient solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team.
