Regulatory Specialist I

About the Role

As a Regulatory Specialist I, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of activities related to environmental assessments, licensing applications and permit applications for Ensero projects and clients.

### Key Responsibilities

Supports all activities related to environmental assessments, licensing and permit applications for Ensero projects and clients with support from Senior technical SME’s.

Conducts summary reporting and technical reporting for internal and external (e.g. regulatory applications) requirements, and generally supports the development of environmental assessment and regulatory applications.

Analyzes and interprets environmental data.

Works collaboratively with the Geoscience, Water Management, Engineering and Reclamation and Closure teams and proactively identifies opportunities to improve project environmental management and streamline regulatory processes.

Provides corporate technical support to Ensero projects with regard to environmental management, regulatory compliance, governance and permitting.

Keep abreast of existing and pending legislation and regulation changes which may impact Ensero projects or our clients’ projects. Coordinate and disseminate regulatory information within the company.

Track project activities and support adherence to timelines, budgets, and deliverables

Participating in client meetings or agency communications as a technical contributor

Supports the writing and development of client proposals

Other related duties as required.

### Minimum Experience & Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Experience

1 - 3 years of previous experience in mining or environmental consulting with knowledge and experience with Yukon or BC’s impact assessment and licensing regime for resource development projects.

Ability to work effectively with team members as well as independently

Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other business software

Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work independently or as part of a team

Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels
