Position Summary:

Under general supervision, performs a variety of administrative tasks and assists with special assignments and projects in support of the company’s safety function.  May assist in coordinating safety services for specific groups, managers, departments and/or project teams.

Manages onboarding for craft team members (new-hire paperwork, coordinate safety orientation and paperwork review)

Develops and updates SSSPs (Site Specific Safety Procedures) for various jobs

Develops and maintains JHA (Job Hazard Analysis) library and manages folders

Administers craft drug testing and tracking

Organizes safety files and updates safety training log

Formats safety training slideshows using PowerPoint

Administers apprentice evaluation process

Adhere to the PRIME Safety Program, complying with safety regulations, procedures and safe work practices. 

Maintain a physical presence onsite and provide assistance to specific groups, managers and project management teams as needed.

Performs other duties as requested; duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.

High school graduate or equivalent and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Proficient with Microsoft Office products

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

Strong communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills

Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-through skills

Ability to effectively multi-task and work under pressure of various deadlines

Ability to elicit cooperation from senior management and other departments
