The Human Resources Generalist will play a key role in supporting the full employee lifecycle within a dynamic, high-growth aerospace manufacturing environment. This individual will partner cross-functionally with leadership and operations to ensure effective HR operations, compliance, and employee engagement.
The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, a strong understanding of California employment law, and the ability to balance administrative execution with employee-facing support. This role requires discretion, sound judgment, and the ability to operate both independently and collaboratively in a production-driven setting.
### Key Responsibilities
Administer end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire orientation and exit interviews
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records within HRIS systems
Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, terminations, and employee inquiries
Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions related to HR policies, procedures, and programs
Provide guidance to managers and employees on employment law, company policies, and HR best practices
Assist in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR policies and procedures
Participate in employee relations matters, including workplace investigations and conflict resolution
Ensure compliance with federal, state (California), and local employment laws and regulations
Generate reports and analyze HR metrics to support business decisions
Support ad hoc HR initiatives and projects aligned with business objectives
Assist in planning and executing employee engagement activities and events
Partner with operations leadership to support workforce needs in a manufacturing environment
### Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 3–5 years of progressive experience in an HR Generalist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of HR operations and California employment law
- Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting to evolving business priorities and organizational structures
- Experience partnering closely with leadership in a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves environment
### Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting manufacturing, aerospace, or defense environments is a plus
Experience with UKG Ready
Experience supporting organizational change, including growth initiatives, restructuring, or integration efforts
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
