About the Role
Pie Insurance is seeking a contract Salesforce System Administrator based in Brazil to join our agile Business Systems team. This individual will be a key technical contributor working within our Salesforce ecosystem, helping design, build, and maintain functionality that supports both pre-sales and post-sales operations — spanning marketing and campaign management through business development and policy writing to customer service, claims, and underwriting support.
This is not a passive ticket-filling role. We need someone who can translate ambiguous business needs into well-structured system configurations — operating intelligently, thinking critically about how changes ripple across our platform, and communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are the translator between what the business is asking for and how it gets built.
Salesforce is the core platform, and deep expertise there is non-negotiable. Familiarity with adjacent systems (such as financial or billing platforms) is a plus, but we expect Salesforce knowledge to be your foundation — you will have the opportunity to learn the rest of our ecosystem over time.
How You’ll Do It
Design & Configure
- Manage Salesforce security protocols including roles, profiles, sharing rules, and permission sets, as well as license assignment
- Assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce and all upstream and downstream applications, systems, and processes
- Construct solutions to complex business problems using standard Salesforce declarative functionality (Lightning Flows, report types and layouts, formula fields, )
- Create and maintain key product documentation, including technical specs, process maps, and customer journey artifacts
- Contribute to Pie’s system documentation repository and internal audit processes
Collaborate & Communicate
- Navigate ambiguity and work autonomously to resolve issues with users and stakeholders across the business
- Translate business intent into system requirements — bridging the gap between what stakeholders ask for and what should actually be built
- Train, educate, and coach business lines to increase self-sufficiency in owning and managing their data
- Work cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical teams, including underwriting, claims, and business development
Execute & Maintain
- Perform regular internal system audits and database maintenance to ensure platform health
- Maintain data integrity across the Salesforce platform and integrated systems
- Assist in data analysis and prep as needed to support user stories and business decisions
- Participate in weekly syncs and agile ceremonies with the broader Business Systems team
Required:
- 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
- Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM201)
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into Salesforce configurations — not just execute tickets, but articulate why one design or delivery approach is better than another
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills; role requires regular cross-functional collaboration with U.S.-based stakeholders
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote-first environment and operate effectively with ambiguity
Preferred:
- Advanced Admin (ADM211) or Platform App Builder certification — either will significantly strengthen your candidacy
- Experience working with or alongside integrated platforms (billing, ERP, or financial systems)
- Background in consulting or agency work (e.g., Big Four, boutique Salesforce partners)
- Exposure to both pre-sales (marketing, campaigns, pipeline) and post-sales (service, support, operations) Salesforce use cases
