With a global workforce of 1,500+ and continuing to scale at an extraordinary pace, we are seeking a Financial Controller to lead our international financial operations from our Hong Kong functional office.
### The Role-
Global Financial Strategy: Direct the financial roadmap for all overseas markets, ensuring scalability and alignment with Lalamove’s global growth objectives.

Operational Excellence: Oversee complex global financial operations, optimizing payment ecosystems for users, drivers, and corporate partners across diverse regulatory landscapes.

Governance & Compliance: Maintain oversight of global statutory compliance and multi-jurisdictional audits to mitigate risk in a fast-evolving O2O sector.

Leadership & Talent Cultivation: Mentor and scale a global finance organization, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and technical mastery.

Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary financial liaison between Functional Departments in Hong Kong and regional leadership, translating complex financial data into strategic narratives for executive decision-making.

Transformation & Integration: Drive the implementation of advanced financial systems and automated reconciliation processes (including payment gateways) to enhance efficiency.
Global Visionary: A leader who understands the nuances of operating across multiple continents and can harmonize local execution with global strategy.
Analytical Powerhouse: Ability to distill complex financial data into clear, strategic recommendations that drive business growth.
Experience: Minimum 12+ years of progressive experience in Finance/Accounting, with at least 5 years in a significant leadership role overseeing regional or global territories.
Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA/ACCA/CFA or equivalent professional qualification is mandatory.
Background: Extensive experience in international audit firms followed by senior in-house roles. Experience in Platform (O2O), Logistics, or Hyper-growth Tech is highly preferred.
Technical Mastery: Deep understanding of IFRS, international tax regulations, and multi-currency consolidations.
Systems Savvy: Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and a strong grasp of automated payment gateway reconciliations.
