WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Technical Platform Operations Specialist, you will serve as a key operational liaison, ensuring the seamless performance of Viant’s products, including our Demand Side Platform (DSP). You will play a pivotal role in bridging cross-functional internal teams—such as Operations, Product, and Engineering—with external stakeholders and third-party partners. Your core responsibility is to maintain operational continuity through clear communication, technical insight, and a strong sense of urgency when addressing problems, challenges, and opportunities.
This role requires a proactive approach to identifying root causes, facilitating resolutions, and driving alignment across multiple teams. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, is a clear communicator, and demonstrates task leadership by translating customer and business needs into actionable solutions.

THE DAY-TO-DAY

  • Serve as the connective point between internal teams (e.g., Ad Operations, Product, Engineering) and external partners, driving the resolution of technical issues and ensuring the reliability of the DSP platform
  • Execute and manage publisher integrations and 3rd-party partner certifications to ensure compliance and system compatibility
  • Provide second-level QA and platform support, ensuring escalated issues are thoroughly documented and addressed with urgency
  • Drive cross-functional projects that enhance platform stability, operational workflows, and campaign execution quality
  • Translate technical findings into clear, actionable feedback for both technical and non-technical stakeholders

GREAT TO HAVE

  • 1+ years of experience in ad operations, technical account management, or a related role
  • Familiarity with at least one ad-serving or programmatic advertising platform

  • Proven ability to adopt and navigate new technologies quickly
  • Working knowledge of HTML/JavaScript
  • Bachelor's degree
