About Anello Photonics:

ANELLO Photonics http://www.anellophotonics.com is a leading-edge technology company based in Santa Clara, CA. The company has developed integrated photonic system-on-chip technology for next generation navigation. ANELLO's SIPHOG™ gyroscope is based on its patented photonic integrated circuit technology. The result is a product that is higher performance, much smaller size and weight, at a fraction of the cost of traditional gyros used in industrial, aerospace and military applications. It enables reliable and accurate navigation and positioning in GPS-Denied environments across autonomous applications for Land, Air and Sea. ANELLO has a growing list of customers and revenue through design wins in commercial and defense. We're engaged in testing trials with various market-leading customers in the Construction, Farming, Trucking, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, Autonomous Vehicles, and National Security segments.

  • Provide manufacturing input to electrical design reviews. Design for DFx (DFM/DFA)
  • Perform new product and sustaining engineering functions.
  • Provide training/mentorship to contract manufacturing (CM) personnel. Ensure that Manufacturing receives the required level of product training.
  • Improve manufacturing operations processes and actively enhance efficiency, consistency, cost avoidance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in early prototype testing and troubleshooting/debug to find root cause failures and drive back fixes to engineering or contract manufacturer.
  • Work in conformance with established manufacturing processes and procedures.
  • Perform value engineering and cost reduction activities.
  • Develop manufacturing process and best practice documentation.

Qualifications

  • B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
  • 5-7 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering in areas such as aerospace, defense, automotive, or high reliability electronics
  • Solid understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and electro-mechanical assembly.
  • Produce high quality documentation that is clearly understandable by internal and external personnel
  • Prior hands-on experience with assembly and test equipment and associated design
  • Able to work independently and as a strong team player being detail-oriented, organized, and hands-on.
