Team

At BeReal, we are dedicated to authenticity in social media. By encouraging users to share unfiltered moments, we foster genuine connections and celebrate real life. We are now an international team of 100+ and have 40M+ monthly active users. Backed by Voodoo, our team is fully focused on scaling BeReal into an iconic social network used by hundreds of millions.

BeReal's product team is a small group of high-performers reporting directly to the CEO. We operate at the intersection of data science, engineering, design, and operations. Highly autonomous and skilled across multiple areas, each member of the team is expected to identify opportunities, design high-impact solutions, drive implementation, and assess results.

Role

As a Product iOS Engineer, you combine deep technical skills with strong product and design sense. You don't just build what's specced — you identify problems, design solutions, and ship features end-to-end. You're as comfortable digging into analytics and user research as you are designing interfaces in Figma and writing production code.

  • Combine analytics and user research to identify user needs, fuel ideation, and lead product improvements.

  • Propose pragmatic solutions and estimate both technical effort and business impact.

  • Contribute to high-level strategic decisions. Help define short and long-term roadmaps.

  • Own features end-to-end: from problem framing to UI/UX design, implementation, testing, and iteration.

  • Design user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity screens in Figma. Take care of every small detail — from information architecture to micro-interactions and transitions.

  • Identify key metrics your solutions should improve and take ownership for achieving success.

  • Write clean, performant, and well-tested code on iOS (Swift, SwiftUI) and/or backend (Go, Node.js).

  • Assess the technical, user, and business impact of the features you ship.

  • Contribute to and uphold best practices in code quality, architecture, and development processes.

  • Contribute to building and improving our design system.

You'll work alongside AI tools that amplify your creativity and streamline your day-to-day.

Profile

  • Strong programming skills in iOS (Swift/SwiftUI), with 4+ years of experience.

  • Product mindset: you obsess over user needs, think in metrics, and make data-driven decisions.

  • You can both hack together a quick prototype and build production-grade systems.

  • Strong UI/UX design skills: you can go from wireframe to polished, high-fidelity screens. Proficiency in Figma is required.

  • You're hyper-analytical: you test your hypotheses rigorously and let data guide your priorities.

  • You're passionate about B2C mobile apps and have a track record of shipping meaningful features or products.

  • You're highly driven, autonomous, and results-oriented.

  • You're fluent in English (French is a plus).

Benefits

  • Competitive salary upon experience

  • Swile Lunch voucher

  • Gymlib (100% borne by Voodoo)

  • Premium healthcare coverage SideCare, for your family 100% borne by Voodoo

  • Wellness activities in our Paris office
