As an intern at Ware Malcomb, you will gain hands-on experience working alongside industry professionals. The Human Resources Intern will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day administrative functions of the Human Resources Department under the direction of the Human Resources Generalist.
This is a paid internship for Summer 2026.
### Your Role
Provides excellent customer service to the Human Resources and Payroll team
Partners with Human Resources Generalist on administrative functions, such as data entry in various Human Resources-related databases
Assists with creating and maintaining team members’ electronic personnel files
Responds to inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and other HR-related matters
Assists in onboarding activities for new team members
Assists with data entry and data scrubs
Supports company culture and company events
Performs ad hoc administrative tasks as required
### Qualifications
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software is advantageous.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Highly organized and detail-oriented are essential traits required of the individual.
Ability to positively interface with all levels of team members is essential.
Ability to prioritize multiple and competing tasks is essential.
Evokes a teamwork mentality and is dependable.
Demonstrates confidentiality in all aspects of the Human Resources Department is essential.
