Making preventive health the default for every human in Europe

The mission

At Lucis, we believe healthcare should be preventive, not reactive. We’re building the OS for human longevity to help people add more healthy years to their lives. You can read more about who we are and how we work here.

The role

We're hiring a Lab Operations & Partnerships Manager to own the relationship between Lucis and our growing network of laboratory partners across Europe. We're a team of 23, with 10,000+ paying members across three markets and three more planned in 2026.

This is not a customer support role. You speak the language of labs. You understand how they operate, how they're regulated, and what it takes to build durable partnerships in the health & diagnostics space. You work hand-in-hand with our CS team to detect and fix systemic issues - not to handle individual tickets.

What you will own

  • The lab partner portfolio end-to-end across all our markets

  • SLA monitoring, quality enforcement, and systemic issue resolution

  • Cross-market network alignment: ensuring consistent SOPs and quality standards across all lab partners, in every market

  • Field engagement: visiting collection centres and processing sites to build operational trust and surface on-the-ground issues firsthand

  • Lab staff training and alignment: ensuring collection teams are briefed on Lucis protocols, sample handling standards, and exception processes

  • New partner onboarding - operational, contractual, and technical

  • Playbooks, SOPs, and documentation that the whole team relies on

  • Data hygiene and GDPR-compliant processes for handling health data

About you

You’re passionate about the future of human health and want your work to help people stay healthy for longer. You move quickly from idea to execution, take full ownership of what you build, and work best with talented people who care as much as you do.

You thrive in fast‑moving environments, learn by doing, and value feedback as a way to continuously improve. You use AI the way others use a calculator: naturally, to go faster and think bigger.

You’ll fit in well if

  • 2–5 years in operations, partnerships, or account management - startup or scale-up environment preferred

  • Proven ownership of external partner relationships: onboarding, QBRs, escalations, renewal

  • Project manager mindset: you track every ball in the air, follow up without being asked, and ship

  • Builder mentality: you create the systems, not just follow them

  • Comfortable in the field as much as behind a screen — you build trust on-site, not just over email

  • Native or fluent French + fluent English. Any additional European language is a strong plus.

  • Clear, structured communicator - written and verbal

  • Comfortable with ~20–30% travel to lab sites across European markets

Nice to have

  • Background in health, diagnostics, biotech, or lab services - highly valued but not a gate

  • Experience supporting market expansion or partner network growth

  • Familiarity with European health data regulations (GDPR, IVD Regulation)

  • Technical fluency with lab data standards or integration workflows

Who you'll work with

  • Head of Ops - your manager and strategic sparring partner

  • Customer Support - your early warning system for lab-related member issues

  • Product & Engineering - for integrations, data flows, and result delivery pipelines

  • Labs teams - account managers, ops teams, IT contacts across all markets

The process

  • Intro call (30 min): culture & role fit.

  • Technical interview (30-60 min)

  • At-home case study: hands-on project, delivery in 2 days.

  • Deep dive and team chat, on-site (1.5 - 3 hours)

  • Reference calls

How we work

We work together from our Paris hub. We’re passionate about what we’re building and believe the fastest way to create something exceptional is side by side. We’re open to relocation support for the right individuals, and we welcome missionaries who travel to work with us in Paris on a regular basis.

  • Rigor without ego: Audits, science, and code all deserve the same high bar.

  • Radical ownership: Feedback loops are short; everyone contributes to building the best version of Lucis.

  • Velocity over perfection: We ship daily and prefer a good decision today over a perfect one next week.

At Lucis, AI isn't just our product, it's our engine. 100% of our teams are equipped with the best AI agents. You have carte blanche to explore and automate everything that can be, so you can focus exclusively on high-value work.
