Own Avionics Assembly, Integration, and Test (AIT) delivery, ensuring avionics hardware is built, integrated, and verified correctly from component level through vehicle integration.

Develop avionics assembly, integration, and test procedures directly from requirements and engineering drawings.

Translate design intent into clear, executable build instructions, defining tooling, torque specifications, parts, consumables, work sequences, and verification steps.

Define and maintain avionics wiring, harness, and pinout diagrams, ensuring correct electrical interfaces and configuration control.

Develop and own avionics assembly procedures for components, sub‑assemblies, and vehicle‑level integration.

Create and execute avionics test procedures, validating functionality, interfaces, and readiness prior to higher‑level integration.
-
Ensure avionics AIT activities meet quality, reliability, and safety standards, suitable for aerospace and defence environments.

Work closely with avionics design, systems, and vehicle AIT teams to resolve integration issues and close design‑for‑integration gaps.

Identify and ensure availability of tools, fixtures, consumables, and test equipment required to support build and integration activities.

Support production of consistent, repeatable avionics builds by enforcing process discipline and configuration control.

Own avionics‑related non‑conformance identification, documentation, and resolution, feeding lessons learned back into design and process updates.

Enable smooth progression from bench‑level avionics testing to vehicle‑level integration

An Avionics AIT Manager or Senior Avionics Integration Engineer with hands‑on experience in electronics or electrical assembly environments.

Background in aerospace avionics manufacturing and assembly is preferred, with automotive electronics experience also acceptable.

Experienced developing avionics wiring diagrams, harness definitions, and pinouts.

Comfortable creating and executing avionics assembly and test procedures from engineering drawings and requirements.

Strong understanding of electronic hardware build processes, tooling, torque control, and workmanship standards.

Detail‑oriented with a strong instinct for process discipline, quality, and repeatability.

Comfortable working across disciplines, coordinating with design, systems, and vehicle integration teams.

Hands‑on and pragmatic, able to support build and testing activities directly when required.

Confident managing multiple avionics workstreams and maintaining configuration control under schedule pressure.
