Why we exist:
Swarmer develops software that makes drones autonomous and allows them to operate together, in large, coordinated teams — no pilots needed. Our technology has been battle-tested in Ukraine— the world’s most intense proving ground for drone warfare.
In March 2026, we became the first Ukrainian defense startup to go public on NASDAQ, following a $15M Series A — the largest investment in a Ukrainian defense tech company since the start of the war.
Working at Swarmer means operating at the intersection of engineering rigor and frontline reality. The problems and environments are complex, and the stakes are very real. We built this software to enable democratic nations to defend themselves.
If you are motivated by building resilient systems that matter and by seeing the direct impact of your work, you’ll find purpose here.
What we’re looking for:
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to shape and deliver cutting-edge autonomous defense products that meet real-world operational needs. This role blends strategic product leadership, deep military domain expertise, and hands-on execution in high-stakes environments.
What you’ll do:
Customer discovery: deeply research military users, their workflows, and real-world mission scenarios
Product development: translate operational needs into product specifications, roadmaps, and backlog priorities
Field validation: test and refine products in real-world environments, incorporating feedback from operators
Product execution: manage and prioritize backlog, resolve dependencies, and ensure smooth delivery
Cross-functional collaboration: work closely with engineering, sales, support, data science, operations, and field teams
Stakeholder management: build and maintain strong relationships with military and government partners
Strategic influence: shape product direction through research, insights, and operational feedback
Go-to-market & adoption: define deployment and rollout strategies, support onboarding and training, and ensure adoption across military units
Metrics & outcomes: define success criteria and measure product and system performance
What we need:
3–5+ years of experience in product management, ideally with complex technical, AI, hardware, or data-driven products
Strong product thinking: ability to turn ambiguity into clear, impactful product decisions
Analytical skills: structured approach to translating complex operational needs into product strategy
Excellent communication: ability to bridge technical teams and military end-users effectively
Ownership mindset: high accountability and sound judgment in fast-paced, dynamic environments
Would be an advantage:
Military or defense domain fluency: prior service, direct work with military units, or strong collaboration with government/defense stakeholders
Technical acumen: familiarity with UAVs, autonomous systems, AI solutions, and command & control systems
What you’ll get:
The opportunity to work on products that directly impact modern warfare
A fast-paced environment with minimal bureaucracy and no “process for the sake of process”
Direct influence on product decisions and visible impact of your work
Career and professional growth opportunities
Benefits of the defense sector (e.g., reservation, etc.)
Competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package (insurance, paid sick leave, 20 paid days off per year)
Flexible remote work options where possible
How’s the hiring process going:
✔️ Intro Call → ✔️ Interview with the team → ✔️ Final interview → ✔️ Security check → ✔️ Offer
