Skydio is the leading US drone company and the world leader in autonomous flight, the key technology for the future of drones and aerial mobility. The Skydio team combines deep expertise in artificial intelligence, best-in-class hardware and software product development, operational excellence, and customer obsession to empower a broader, more diverse audience of drone users, from utility inspectors to first responders, soldiers in battlefield scenarios, and beyond.

About the Role:
As a Sales Planning Analyst Intern (SPA), you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting the Revenue Operations team in analyzing sales data and improving planning processes. This internship is designed to provide exposure to how data informs key business decisions across sales, finance, and operations.

In this role, you’ll help collect, analyze, and report on sales-related data to support annual planning, forecasting, and performance tracking. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and learn how key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and reporting tools are used to guide strategic decision-making.

This is a great opportunity for someone interested in data analytics, business operations, or go-to-market strategy who wants to build real-world experience in a fast-paced environment.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Support the annual sales and fiscal year planning process through data analysis and reporting

  • Assist with territory planning, headcount planning, and incentive compensation analysis

  • Partner with Sales Operations to help maintain forecasting models and reporting cadence (weekly, quarterly, annual)

  • Help gather business requirements and contribute to defining key performance indicators (KPIs)

  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports, both recurring and ad hoc

  • Conduct basic quantitative analysis on sales and product data to identify trends and insights

  • Support quarterly business reviews by preparing data and performance summaries

  • Assist in researching business questions and building simple models to support analysis

  • Help improve data accuracy, reporting processes, and operational efficiency

  • Present findings in a clear and organized way to team members and stakeholders

What Would Make You a Good Fit:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Business, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

  • Comfortable working with data in tools like Excel, Google Sheets, or similar platforms

  • Interest in sales operations, revenue operations, or business analytics

  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn from cross-functional teams

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work both independently and collaboratively

  • Exposure to tools like Salesforce, NetSuite, or data platforms is a plus, but not required

  • Familiarity with basic statistical concepts (e.g., forecasting, regression) is a plus

Compensation Range: The hourly base salary range for this position is $41/hr for Undergrad, $47/hr for Graduate students, and $53 for PhD students*. Compensation will vary based on factors, including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience. In addition to base salary, Skydio full-time employees are eligible to enroll in our benefit plans and take advantage of a variety of incentives and stipends.

*For some positions the pay may be dependent upon the individual's regional location.
