The Role
As Sales Development Representative (SDR), Private Clusters, you will help build Evergrid’s qualified sales pipeline by engaging with potential customers across inbound and outbound channels.
This role is ideal for someone early in their sales career who wants exposure to technical infrastructure sales, direct collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Forward Engineering teams, and a clear growth path into Account Executive or broader GTM roles.
You’ll be the first touchpoint for many prospective customers — shaping first impressions, uncovering needs, and setting the stage for high-quality sales conversations.
What You’ll Do
Build revenue pipeline by booking introductory meetings with prospective customers and key decision-makers
Respond quickly and thoughtfully to inbound inquiries, qualifying fit and interest
Execute outbound prospecting via email, phone, LinkedIn, and creative outreach to generate new opportunities
Identify high-potential accounts, verticals, and use cases for Evergrid's infrastructure offerings
Partner with Sales and Marketing to refine messaging, campaigns, and targeting strategies
Track and manage pipeline activity accurately in CRM and related tools
Stay informed on market trends, competitors, and developments in AI infrastructure
Support pre- and post-engagement at industry events and conferences (including in-person attendance)
What We’re Looking For
9+ months of experience in a sales development, lead generation, or similar role in a SaaS, CSP, Neocloud, or Hyperscaler environment
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Comfortable building relationships internally and externally
Willing to travel to attend conferences and trade shows
Coachable, collaborative, and motivated to continuously improve
Resilient and persistent — able to handle rejection and maintain momentum
Familiarity with standard sales tools (CRM, Outreach, Salesloft, prospecting tools)
Strong time management, organization, and prioritization skills
Interest or exposure to cloud, infrastructure, or security sales is a plus
