Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in a mechanical engineering role, with a strong focus on design for manufacturing, and continuous improvement.
  • Proven experience with complex electromechanical systems, particularly in robotics, aerospace, or a similar field.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with humanoid robotics or legged locomotion is a significant plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
  • Vision to read printed materials and a computer screen
  • Hearing and speech to communicate
