YOUR MISSION
As an Inventory Manager at True Anomaly, you will be a key contributor in executing our Supply Chain strategy. You will lead the planning of procurement, inspection, and production tasks for goods and services necessary to deliver flight hardware to orbit. You will own the development, documentation, and continuous improvement of inventory and material-related processes, acting as a strategic advocate across the business. This role requires a hands-on leader who can design scalable systems, drive cross-functional alignment, and take full ownership of material and service requirements from sourcing through delivery. We are looking for a reliable problem solver who identifies issues proactively and builds lasting solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own and manage end-to-end inventory operations, including receiving, storage, picking, and fulfillment of aerospace parts and components
- Develop and enforce inventory control policies and procedures to ensure accuracy, traceability, and compliance with aerospace industry standards
- Lead cycle counting programs and conduct periodic physical inventory audits; analyze variances and implement corrective actions
- Oversee and optimize the use of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and/or ERP systems to maintain real-time inventory visibility and accuracy
- Manage and mentor inventory team members, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
- Partner with Procurement, Engineering, and Production teams to forecast material demand and prevent shortages or excess inventory
- Establish and track key inventory metrics (e.g., fill rate, inventory turns, accuracy rate) and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure all material handling equipment is operated safely and that the warehouse environment meets safety and regulatory standards
- Lead inspection and disposition processes for incoming components, identifying and resolving discrepancies or quality issues in coordination with Quality Assurance
- Collaborate with Shipping & Receiving and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless workflow and on-time order fulfillment
- Support new product introductions and production ramp activities by aligning inventory readiness with program milestones
QUALIFICATIONS
- Requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education
- Experience in the aerospace or similar highly regulated manufacturing industry is a significant plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential
- Ability to read and interpret sales orders, part numbers, and product specifications
- Basic computer proficiency, including experience with WMS, ERP systems, or inventory management software
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing or warehouse setting
- Previous experience with aerospace components or high-value, sensitive materials
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification (or working toward certification)
- Familiarity with AS9100 quality management standards
- Experience supporting flight hardware programs or government/defense contracts
- Demonstrated success implementing or improving inventory systems and processes from the ground up
COMPENSATION
- Base Salary: $100,000- $150,000
- Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave

- Work Location—this a fully onsite position based out of our Centennial, CO or Long Beach, CA office.
