This positions is responsible for actively leading key aspects of our inventory integrity initiatives within a Microsoft Dynamics AX inventory system based on internal reporting from both the Kitchen and Plate and Pack departments. This position is hands on and spends roughly 50% of a work day in the warehouse/cooler/freezer and 50% at a desk conducting research on inventory related items.
Schedule for this role is:
Monday - Friday 6:30am - 4:00pm
### Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to
Monitor inbound/outbound product to ensure inventory integrity and all required information is accurately captured prior to further movement throughout the supply chain
Identify root causes of data integrity gaps and work cross-functionally to implement correct processes. This includes coordinating with Finance, Purchasing, Production, and Fulfillment departments regarding inventory, transfer, and replenishment needs
Analyze facility inventory on a regular basis and ensure all critical information is loaded within the system and provide corrective action/resolution on and identified gaps
Ensure movement of product into & out of the facility is processed correctly
Responsible for staffing & scheduling respective shift appropriately
Updates/confirms inventory program based on actual cycle count numbers
Ensures FEFO/FIFO processes are being followed
Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and managing the performance of employees assigned to respective shift
Support all safety efforts
### Required Skills and Experience
High School Diploma/GED
3+ years of warehouse/inventory experience
1 year of previous warehouse/inventory supervisory experience
Previous experience with warehouse/inventory management systems
Ability to obtain forklift certification (if not currently active)
Must be able to effectively communicate cross-functionally in a collaborative manner
Must be able to influence others using data and experience, all while respecting and supporting the priorities and objectives of other functions
Must be proficient in Microsoft office products and able to develop clear and concise spreadsheets, documents, and reports
### Preferred Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s/Associate Degree
Experience working in a food production environment
Previous experience using handheld scan gun, pallet jack, and forklift
Bilingual (Spanish)
