An excellent opportunity exists for a Fellowship-qualified Obstetrician & Gynaecologist to join a busy O&G department at Northern Territory's premier tertiary referral hospitals. This is a high-impact clinical role offering genuine variety, a collaborative team culture, and the chance to make a real difference to women's health outcomes across a diverse and underserved population.

About the Department

The O&G Department operates within a major tertiary-level public hospital — one of the largest in regional Australia — with over 500 beds and a broad scope of clinical services spanning obstetrics, gynaecology, maternal-fetal medicine, and urogynaecology. The unit manages a high-volume and clinically complex caseload, including a busy labour ward, a dedicated antenatal clinic, and gynaecological oncology support in collaboration with specialist services. The department is well-staffed with a mix of Staff Specialists, Visiting Medical Officers, and Registrars, with strong ties to a structured training program accredited by RANZCOG. You will work alongside a team that is genuinely committed to clinical excellence, cultural safety, and delivering equitable care to one of Australia's most diverse patient populations.
