Physics Teacher

We are looking for a Physics teacher for an International school based in Chongqing. This position is available from the upcoming 2026-27 academic year starting in August 2026.

An international school situated in the Liangjiang New Area of Chongqing offers world-class education to its K-12 (Kindergarten, Primary, Middle and High School divisions) students in a bilingual setting. It is housed on an expansive area of 135,000 sqm, with the capacity to host 2,400 pupils, 540 of which are boarders.

Job details

• Responsible for teaching physics courses to primary and secondary school students
• Prepare lessons, lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Co-teach with teachers and be prepared to develop and improve school-based curriculum
• Asses and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Hold or participate in parents’ meetings
• Partake proactively in the annual cycle of subject monitoring, review and improvement planning
• Be proactive in maintaining and developing IT capability in line with the Digital Learning Strategy

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or above
• More than 2 years related working experience
• Hold UK PGCE, or other relevant teaching qualification
• Passionate and Energetic in teaching
• Working knowledge of the National Curriculum of England including EYFS, KS1, KS2, KS3, IGCSE/GCSE and A Levels
• Evidence of relevant and challenging continuing professional development
