Position Overview

BAYADA is seeking a Clinical Manager to support our Maui Visits (MAV) office in Maui, Hawaii. This role is ideal for a clinically strong nurse leader who is passionate about supporting field staff, ensuring high-quality client care, and helping office and field teams deliver care the BAYADA Way.

In this role, the Clinical Manager leads field staff with a focus on client service, clinical excellence, quality, and adherence to policies and procedures. The position is accountable for internal case management, field staff evaluation, and development.

This is an exempt office-based leadership position that partners closely with the Director, Rehabilitation Manager where applicable, and Director of Clinical Operations to ensure cohesive, high-quality support of clinical services across the office.

Salary: up to $120k depending on experience

What You'll Do

  • Lead and support field staff in alignment with The BAYADA Way and BAYADA standards for quality, service, and compliance.

  • Partner closely with the Rehabilitation Manager where applicable, the Director, and Director of Clinical Operations to ensure consistent management of field staff and coordinated client care.

  • Oversee the delivery of all services to ensure superior quality, including review of clinical documentation, support for accurate ICD coding, facilitation of client care coordination, and monitoring of key performance indicators and process measures.

  • Help ensure the most appropriate clinicians are assigned to each client and that the client's individualized plan of care is developed, implemented, and updated based on ongoing assessment.

  • Support timely case management, including HHA and LPN supervision, authorization management, interdisciplinary communication, and response to ADRs and denials.

  • Coordinate client care and referrals while serving as an internal case manager and client advocate, collaborating with team members regarding client status, assignments, care plans, and expected outcomes.

  • Participate in the Infection Control Program by identifying and reporting infections and risks, investigating trends and practice issues, and developing improvement plans as needed.

  • Provide clinical oversight to field staff by participating in hiring, validating competency, assigning skill codes as applicable, reviewing performance, supporting education, and supervising care through home observations and documentation review.

  • Partner with the Home Health Clinical Practice Office to pilot new programs, implement process changes, and strengthen orientation, training, and ongoing competencies for field staff.

  • Represent BAYADA in community and marketing activities, including visits to physician offices and facilities, while supporting broader office and company initiatives.

  • Help support day-to-day office needs and, when necessary, step in to support field staff when staffing is unavailable.

What We're Looking For

  • Current license in good standing as a Registered Nurse; BSN or Master's preferred and required based on state regulations.

  • Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program as indicated by school transcript or diploma.

  • Prior supervisory experience commensurate with program requirements.

  • At least two years of home health or community health nursing experience.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, a record of goal achievement, and a demonstrated ability to take on increasing responsibility with positive results.

  • Successful completion of required nursing quizzes, competency testing, nursing skills checklist, background and exclusions checks, and continuing education requirements.
